Our MissionIt is the desire of KAYP and American Family Radio to provide the very best in Christian radio. Our programs feature some of this country's most prominent speakers and leaders in Christian Ministry.
On KAYP and American Family Radio the music is a rich blend of inspirational, light contemporary, and praise. Even though most of our programming is oriented in Tupelo, Mississippi and is fed to KAYP via satellite, we still make every effort to provide the local community and the surrounding region with news, information, and weather that impacts this area.
We at KAYP are committed to Southeast Iowa, Western Illinois, and North Easterrn Missouri and will always super serve the needs of our listeners in these areas and towns. We are committed to the message of truth from a biblical prospective in our shows and programs and pray that our programming from day to day will always reflect the powerful truth of God's Word.
Our History KAYP is the 189th station in the American Family Radio Network. We signed on the air November 1st of 2000 and operated with a direct satellite feed to our transmitter while constructing our local studio in West Burlington. On November 16th of 2001 KAYP began local broadcasting to compliment the network programming. God continues to bless our efforts today and we hope to be a voice for Him in the days and years ahead.We have enjoyed great success since that date. We continue to improve our signal especially in the Burlington area.
We are owned by the American Family Association, Inc.- Dr. Don Wildmon, President. We are listener and underwriter supported and all contributions are tax deductible.
